ABOUT MUMS

Motherhood is beautiful—but it’s also messy, overwhelming, and sometimes really lonely.

Somewhere between the sleepless nights and the big emotions, a lot of moms start wondering, “Why didn’t anyone tell me it would feel like this?

That’s exactly why MUMS was created—Motherhood’s Ultimate Method for Success.
MUMS is a community, a safe landing place, and a reminder that taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your baby.
We know the transition into motherhood isn’t always talked about honestly. Here, we talk about it. We honor it. We walk through it—together.

Through workshops, group conversations, creative activities, and real tools you can use in your everyday life, MUMS is here to help you feel stronger, more supported, and more like yourself again. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. You don’t have to have it all together.

MUMS is a place where you’re allowed to show up exactly as you are—and leave feeling a little lighter, a little braver, and a whole lot more seen.

We’re so glad you’re here. Welcome to MUMS.

MUMS TESTIMONIALS

Alicia C.

"Joining MUMS while pregnant was one of the best decisions I made. At first, I thought I was just signing up for some helpful tools and workshops- and I absolutely got that. The events gave me practical ways to prepare emotionally for what was ahead, from managing intrusive thoughts to rethinking the unrealistic expectations I had about motherhood. Learning about newborns to feel more mentally prepared and also ways to manage the blues and my anxiety around my baby being sick has benefitted me the most now that my baby has been born. I didn't expect how powerful the support from the other moms would be. Even before my baby arrived, I felt held by this group of women who understood, who listened without judgment, and who reminded me I was not alone."

CONTACT US

MEET CASSANDRA

Cassandra, a Licensed Professional Counselor, was inspired to start MUMS after experiencing her own transition into motherhood. She was navigating the beginning of her largest role yet – a mom – while also trying to stay on top of educating herself on infancy, producing enough milk, staying positive with the changes she saw in her body, connecting with her partner, giving attention to her fur babies, and feeding herself.

As Cassandra experienced an existential shift in her identity, she was also forced to grieve her previous identity as someone who ‘had it together’. The ups and downs of bringing her baby home were not only overwhelming but quite isolating as well. And so, MUMS was created.

As new mothers navigate this large transition and take on perhaps their biggest role in life yet – they require and deserve support. Motherhood is hard and it truly does take a village. MUMS can be that village – providing professional guidance, facilitating a supportive mom circle, and creating opportunities for moms to connect with local organizations centered on the maternal experience. This can allow moms to find rest, take care of themselves, and learn new skills to take care of their mental health. Yes, there was a birth of a baby, but also a birth of a mum!
