ABOUT MUMS
In the whirlwind of motherhood, there is a profound realization that amidst the joy and wonder, there exists a silent struggle. Mothers, warriors of love and resilience, face a journey not always spoken of—the journey of nurturing not just their young but also their own mental well-being.
Out of this recognition was born MUMS—Motherhood's Ultimate Method for Success. MUMS is not just another program; it is a beacon of hope, a sanctuary where moms find solace, support, and empowerment. Focusing on helping her through the transition into motherhood, each mom can embark on a transformative journey. Prioritizing her mental well-being is not selfish; it is essential for the well-being of their family.
But MUMS is more than just a gathering—it is a method, a roadmap to navigate the intricate landscape of motherhood and its various layers. Through expert-led workshops, guided discussions, and personalized support, MUMS strives to equip its members with the tools they need to navigate the stressors of motherhood with grace and resilience.
And so, the story of MUMS continues—a story of courage, compassion, and community—a story of mothers coming together to rewrite the narrative of pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of motherhood one empowered step at a time.

MEET CASSANDRA
Cassandra, a Licensed Professional Counselor, was inspired to start MUMS after experiencing her own transition into motherhood. She was navigating the beginning of her largest role yet – a mom – while also trying to stay on top of educating herself on infancy, producing enough milk, staying positive with the changes she saw in her body, connecting with her partner, giving attention to her fur babies, and feeding herself.
As Cassandra experienced an existential shift in her identity, she was also forced to grieve her previous identity as someone who ‘had it together’. The ups and downs of bringing her baby home were not only overwhelming but quite isolating as well. And so, MUMS was created.
As new mothers navigate this large transition and take on perhaps their biggest role in life yet – they require and deserve support. Motherhood is hard and it truly does take a village. MUMS can be that village – providing professional guidance, facilitating a supportive mom circle, and creating opportunities for moms to connect with local organizations centered on the maternal experience. This can allow moms to find rest, take care of themselves, and learn new skills to take care of their mental health. Yes, there was a birth of a baby, but also a birth of a mum!
